Welcome to Kinson Ridge Giants — home of the floof, the drool, and the most lovable land bears you'll ever meet.
We’re a small, family-run Newfoundland breeding program where the dogs are large, the cuddles are larger, and the fur is… well, everywhere. If you're dreaming of a spotless home, we’ll be honest: a Newfoundland might not be for you. But if you're okay trading clean floors for endless love, snuggles, and being leaned on like a human tree — you're our kind of people. What started as a deep love for these gentle giants quickly turned into a passion for raising happy, healthy pups with paws the size of dinner plates and hearts even bigger.
Our Newfies are raised right alongside us — underfoot, on the couch, occasionally in the bathtub (don’t ask), and always in the middle of the action. They’re part of our daily life, which means they come pre-spoiled and thoroughly socialized.
We focus on health, temperament, and preserving the best qualities of this incredible breed. Our puppies leave here ready to become your shadow, (the stickiest type of velcro dog) your best friend, your oversized lap dog — and possibly your new hoover.
Health is incredibly important when planning a litter at Kinson Ridge. All parents have completed the recommended health testing for the breed, including:
• OFA hips
• OFA elbows
• Cardiac testing (heart)
• Cystinuria DNA testing
These tests help ensure we are breeding with the long-term health and wellbeing of our puppies in mind.
Whether you're here to meet our dogs, follow our adventures, or reserve your future gentle giant, we’re so glad you stopped by. Just don’t forget a lint roller.
🐾 With love (and slobber),
The Kinson Ridge Giants Crew

Program Overview
We care a lot about how we raise our dogs and where our puppies go.
Our goal is to produce healthy, well-tempered Newfoundlands that truly reflect what the breed is meant to be — loyal, gentle, and wonderful working companions.
The health and wellbeing of our dogs will always come first, in everything we do.
Because of that, we’re very intentional about placement. Our puppies are only placed in carefully chosen homes — we do not sell to pet shops, brokers, or anyone we don’t feel is the right fit.
At the end of the day, we just want each puppy to go to a home where they’ll be loved, cared for, and treated like part of the family.

Remembering Rue 🩷
There’s a reason health is such a big focus for me.
Before officially starting Kinson Ridge Giants, I had a brown Newfoundland named Rue. She was incredibly special to me, but she struggled with multiple health issues, and that experience is something I would never
wish upon anyone else.
Loving her and going through what I did is a big part of why I care so deeply about doing things the right way. It shaped how I approach breeding, the decisions I make, and the standards I hold for our dogs.
Because of her, I’m committed to raising the healthiest puppies I possibly can — not just for the families who take them home, but for the dogs themselves.
Everyone, meet Neytiri
My name is Alexa Young
Our newest addition to Kinson Ridge Giants…and I already know she’s going to be something special.
She’s a stunning grey female, and genetically she brings so much to the table — carrying grey, brown, and Landseer recessive 🖤 which I’m beyond excited about for the future of my program.
I’m so excited to watch her grow, develop, and eventually become part of what I’m building here.
This is just the beginning for her…and I have a feeling she’s going to leave her mark in a big way 🐾
